Over 95% of companies applying to TVA need help and are not yet ready for funding.  At TVA, we believe that there are certain salient issues for each company.  But how can you as an entrepreneur understand a funding source's agenda?  The SCORE report identifies the important questions – i.e. which are critical issues for which you need help and who can help you with them?

This is where the TVA’s national network of business advisors, mentors and consultants comes in.  TVA has identified 25 consulting disciplines that are necessary for helping you succeed.  We select the "best-of-class" in each discipline and geography.  Then, when TVA identifies a specific need with one of our clients, we refer them to the precise consultant(s) who can best help them address each issue.  

With each SCORE report, we determine the three (3) most important issues that need fixing and you will be is referred to a member of the local consultancy who can assist in addressing each issue.  Thus, for every TVA application, (up to) three referrals are made to the Consultancy. TVA’s partnership with these consultants provides a significant pool of experts to review, qualify and support your company’s capital needs.

We have created this unique mechanism for providing our clients with a higher probably of getting the funding they seek.  Simply put, the TVA Process helps us write more checks and gives us the opportunity of having a continuing look at companies we otherwise would not fund.
