James W. Casparie
CEO
|
Mr. Casparie has been a
significant innovator in the angel and VC investing space for almost 20
years. He was a founding Principal in the nationally recognized angel
capital firm, Angel Strategies where he was principally responsible for
recruiting the base angel network from which grew their national
presence. He also established the original TVA Consultancy Program and
established the original offices in Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta, New
York and San Diego.
Since 1987, Mr. Casparie has been the
personal advisor to hundreds of top-level executives across a diverse
range of industries. He was co-founder and CEO of the ABL Organization
and Executive Director of SoCAL Ten, the two leading networking
organizations for the CEOs of VC-backed companies. Mr. Casparie is a
founding member and past Chairman of the Board for the Forum for
Corporate Directors. He was also Chairman of the Board and CEO of TRG
Consultancy, Inc., a firm specializing in providing quality resources
to growing high-technology companies.

Elliot B. Reiff
COO & CFO
|
Mr. Reiff has over 25
years of finance, investment banking and management experience in both
the private and public sectors. Most recently he worked for 12 years at
Geneva Companies, the nation’s leading provider of M&A services to
middle market entrepreneurs. Over that period he served as COO and CFO
and was responsible for the origination of new evaluation and M&A
clients. Prior to Geneva he provided investment banking and financial
advisory services to private and public entities. He has also held
senior positions at the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Housing
Finance Agencies with responsibility for credit enhanced bond
financings, subsidized and market rate multifamily loan underwriting
and workouts.
Mr. Reiff earned a Master's of Regional
Planning from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Mechanical
Engineering from City College New York.

John Hadley
VP, Sales
|
Mr. Hadley is an accomplished Sales
Professional with 14 years of experience in several diverse
industries. In addition, he is a serial angel investor with
connections in the venture capital and investment banking communities,
and he is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Tech Coast Venture
Network.
Most recently, Mr. Hadley served as Director of Sales for The TriNet
Group, a business process-outsourcing firm. In this capacity, he
established numerous sales records while leading TriNet to national
recognition in the Inc. 500 “Hall of Fame,” signifying five consecutive
years as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the
U.S. Prior to TriNet, Mr. Hadley received numerous awards as a
Sales Representative for Fisons Pharmaceuticals, including “Outstanding
Sales Representative of the Year.”
Mr. Hadley received a B.A. in History and Business Economics from
Revelle College at the University of California at San Diego.

Derek W. Johnson
VP, Sales

Mr. Johnson’s sales and
marketing background covers sixteen years of diverse industry
experience. Derek’s career as a young salesman began with the legendary
Brian Tracy, one of America's leading authorities on the development of
human potential and personal effectiveness.
His sales experience includes industries
as Mortgage Banking and the fiercely competitive world of Computer
Networking. He has been interviewed on radio and is frequently quoted
in magazines, and has been repeatedly published in magazines such as
Network World Magazine and PC World Magazine.

Dr. Steve Tuthill
CIO/CTO
|
Dr. Tuthill comes to TVA
with over 20 years experience in technology management. He will serve
as CTO and oversee the implementation of TVAs portal. He brings
extensive software experience in R & D, technical architectures and
strategies, as well as technical evaluation, design, and strategic
positioning for technology trends. He has a successful track record in
developing various applications including concept systems, knowledge
management, B2B and B2E systems, and designing systems support. Earlier
in his career, he held positions with Arthur Andersen Consulting and
served in high-level management positions in various start-up
companies. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on
topics including intelligent agents, database design, Internet, and
distance learning.
In addition to numerous
articles and studies, Dr. Tuthill has published several books,
including two that focus on aspects of knowledge-based system
technologies and a third book that focuses on networking and Internet
technologies. He has served on numerous occasions as technology
consultant, board member, and advisor, as well as an expert witness on
technology related legal issues. Dr. Tuthill was a nominee for the
National Technology Award sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
